Welded Aluminum Railings

Whether it’s a direct welded system or punched & welded system there are some distinct advantages to direct welding. Lower cost of installation labor with typically half the installation time provides big cost savings.  Welded systems provide higher strength to the overall systems as all connections are welded (much stronger than mechanical connections). The only mechanical fasteners used are to bolt the system to the building and stainless fasteners at all splice locations.

The welded unitized system transfer design loads throughout the railing to adjacent post attachments. And lastly, with welded systems, you get the highest level of quality control as all the systems are fabricated in the factory under a controlled environment.  There are no exposed ends of aluminum as all are fully powder coated in the factory.  Welded railing systems are typically the mark of premium, high-end systems.
