TAMPA, Fla. – (March 20, 2017) – Greco Aluminum Railings (Greco), a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineered railing and safety systems for multi-family and commercial structures in the United States and Canada, has recently been awarded two high-profile projects; 1200 South Indiana in Chicago, IL and The Hub in Waterloo, Ontario.
The new Chicago skyscraper will be located on the southwestern edge of Grant Park and will bookend the iconic Willis Tower (formerly Sears tower). The new 80-story residential tower, designed by Rafael Vinoly Architects, will offer 792 rental units and is designed to LEED Silver. James McHugh Construction Company is the general contractor and RWC Construction Company will be installing over 8,000 linear feet of Greco’s glass railings.
About 500-miles northeast of Chicago in Waterloo, Ontario, is The Hub, Waterloo’s newest mixed-use, residential development. This massive project was designed by PG Design Studio and includes five buildings, offering a unique space for people to connect and work together. The general contractor is Prica Group and Greco Aluminum Railings will be providing and installing over 10,000 linear feet of railings and dividers.
